  Essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following. Provide general medical care and treatment to patients in both emergent and non-emergent settings as defined by the Arizona Department of Health Services Scope of Practice for Paramedic. Neatly and accurately document pertinent patient information on ambulance run tickets, patient refusal forms, and transport forms. Ability to work cooperatively with other employees and medical agencies to provide highest level of patient care, excellent communication and customer service skills. Maintain safe and healthy workplace in accordance to the standards set forth by the Occupational Health and Safety Administration and the Southwest Ambulance Standard Operating Procedures. Exhibit ability to perform ALS functions, following protocols set forth by the State of Arizona.
Applicants must have an Arizona Paramedic Certification (or be Nationally Regisitered), current CPR card, current ACLS card, and physical ability to perform all tasks required in the performance of typical Paramedic duties. Must reside in Yuma County upon hire.
