  Operations Supervisor
 B R I E F P O S I T I O N D E S C R I P T I O N :
  Position Summary:
Works in the field to ensure service is maintained in emergency staffing situations or as assigned. This candidate must work closely with all departments within the organization in order to foster a strong team relationship. This individual is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and support of designated municipalities or geographic areas.
Essential Functions:
Assigned to Dekalb County, GA
Daily contact with and management of field crews
Complete daily supervisory rounds of facilities in the division
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of local and regional protocols
Ensure all employees present a professional appearance at all times while on duty
Perform any and all necessary functions as may be assigned by management
Ensure budgeted goals are met
Maintain a professional working relationship with all employees, supervisors and managers
Complete required investigations
Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
Strong problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills are required
Previous EMS supervisory experience preferred
Paramedic certification preferred
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; A.A degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
Working Conditions:
The work is performed in both a field office and outdoor environment and may be exposed to adverse conditions of temperature or weather.
