 Customer Service Rep I - Patient Advocate - FT (2)
B R I E F P O S I T I O N D E S C R I P T I O N :
 Southwest Ambulance is currently seeking (2) qualified applicants for our Billing Department asCustomer Service I - Patient Advocate in a Full Time capacity. This position requires confidentiality,superior customer service skills and analytical skills, must have knowledge of how to read Explanation of Benefits (EOB), previous billing experience for service to patients, facilities and/or insurance companies highly preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of medical terminology. Knowledge of AS400 preferred.
This part time opportunity will last at least 4 months. There could be an opportunity for full time employment with Southwest Ambulance, however this would be reviewed on a case by case basis as internal staffing needs would present themselves.
Qualifications:
High School/GED
Strong data entry skills
1 year medical billing preferred
Typing 45 (wpm)
10 key (10,000 – 14,000 keystrokes with min 90% accuracy)
