  Field Supervisor
 B R I E F P O S I T I O N D E S C R I P T I O N :
  Applicant must be a certified New York State Paramedic with two (2) years minimum and three (3) years preferred experience with one (1) year experience in high volume EMS service; In addition must have certification in CPR, PALS, ACLS, & BTLS; Applicant must have a valid New York State Drivers license; The applicant must regularly lift, carry, balance and/or move more than 125 pounds (250 pounds with the assistance of another trained provider); Maintains responsibility for daily operations, efficiency and supervision of all EMS field personnel assigned to his/her shift; Monitors all "on-the-road" activities, which support the rendering of direct patient care, customer service and enhancement of company quality service standards including Regional and Corporate policies; Administers medical treatment to and transports sick or injured persons to medical facilities, working as a member of an emergency medical team, by performing the duties under the EMT, EMT-Intermediate and Paramedic job descriptions while complying with New York State Department of Health standards and protocols.
