  ARFF Firefighter-Reserve
 B R I E F P O S I T I O N D E S C R I P T I O N :
  DUTIES:
1. Respond to emergency and non-emergency request for service.
2. Responsible for training, prevention, and incident mitigation.
3. Document information on precsribed forms and submit reports within company policy.
4. Operate ARFF vehicles in accordance with state laws and company policy.
5. Perform required operator maintenance on ARFF vehicles and equipment.
6. Have the ability to act in a supervisory role when necessary.
7. Participate in professional education and fitness training.
8. Must be able to interact with the public and have the ability to learn a complex security system and provide SIDA training.
9. Must be able to work as a team player and interact with other employees and contribute to departmental and company goals
REQUIRMENTS:
1. Must be certified as Haz Mat Operations and North Dakota Firefighter I&II within one year of hire date.
2. Must have current North Dakota or National Registery EMT
3. Must be able to receive a North Dakota Commercial Drivers License with air brake endorsement within 6 months of hire date.
4. Must participate in a current FAA approved hot drill -ARFF, Practical Application Certification.
5. Must successfully complete all 11 FAA Curriculums (40 hours) within 60 days of hire date.
6. Must pass an airport background check prior to hire.
7. Must pass Motor Vehicle Operators background check.
8. Must successfully pass a DOT physical and Drug Test.
9 Minimum 18 years of age.
